Zacara, from the beginning to the end

Zacara beat Geebung 10-7 and won the Al Habtoor Royal Windsor Cup, the most important medium goal tournament in England..

Zacara came stronger right at the beginning of the match, as Rookie Baillieu took the ball quickly from the throw and ran fast toward the posts to score the match´s first goal.

Meanwhile, the balanced attack from Geebung allowed them to get closer in the score during the second chukka, as Gareth Evans and Pepe Araya settled in midfield. In the third chukka, Zacara took a 4-2 advantage and went into half time leading 6-3, with goals by Rookie Baillieu and James Beim.

The second half of the match started with Pepe Araya scoring for Geebung, but the ever present Rookie Baillieu was in charge to keep Zacara´s advantage, and he scored to secure a 7-4. The final result was sealed in the fifth chukka. A penalty conversion and a field goal by James Beim, plus one more goal from Oliver Curdmore gave Zacara a 10-4 lead, as Pepe Araya scored the last goal for Geebung through a penalty conversion.

The Subsidiary Mountbatten Cup went to Asprey London, as they beat Clarita 10-9.
